FOUNDING DIRECTOR - ANA LUISA ROLDAN HOYTE, 1998 - 2015

DR. DAVID J. HOYTE and his wife ANA LUISA ROLDAN HOYTE were the founders of Sanctuary Christian Academy, originally a school for underprivileged girls from Mexico. As the first Directress of the school from January 1998 until her untimely passing in March of 2015, Ana Luisa held a BS in Marketing from Millersville University, Millersville PA, and a Texas Teaching Certificate from University of Texas, Pan American. She was an excellent teacher and administrator, and a servant of God who gave herself for others.

GLADYS ESTHER ROLDAN MOLINA was the second directress of Sanctuary Christian Academy, having come from Puerto Rico to take the place of her sister Ana Roldan Hoyte when she passed away. She served for 3 years and was a wonderful teacher and administrator. She held a Bachelor's degree in Education from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.

ROSA LERMA HOYTE is the current directress of Sanctuary Christian Academy, having assumed the position in August of 2018. She holds an Associate degree and the advanced Undergraduate Certificate in Christian Education from Regional Christian University, Edinburg Texas. She also has a Master in Theological Studies Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fortworth, Texas.
